Owner & Veterinarian
Dr. Mack is originally from San Diego. He grew up with animals and from a young age began helping his father, who was also a veterinarian, at his practice in El Cajon, California.
Prior to moving to Ponte Vedra Beach, Dr. Mack practiced veterinary medicine in Daytona Beach and mixed animal medicine and surgery in the Ocala area. He previously served on the Board of Directors of his local chapter of The Humane Society. Most recently, Dr. Mack invented an anesthetic safety device to help prevent complications during the administration of gas anesthetic agents. A design prototype has been made and is currently in the patent pending process. In his free time Dr. Mack enjoys spending time with his daughters at their Ocala farm where they raise quarter horses.
Veterinarian
Dr. Aaron Thivierge joined Palm Valley Veterinary Center in May of 2023. He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He is a member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and the Ross University Alumni Organization.
Dr. Thivierge’s professional interests include canine and feline wellness as well as dermatology.
Dr. T. can be found spending time with his wife, 3 children, a Golden Retriever and 3 rabbits or fishing and building boats.
Veterinarian
Dr. Kelley Pampalon is a 2018 graduate of Ross University, where she received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology. After completing the first portion of her veterinary education on the island of St. Kitts, she moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma, to complete the clinical portion of her training at Oklahoma State University, where she planned to focus on large animal medicine. Shortly after receiving her doctorate, Dr. Pampalon moved back to Jacksonville, FL, where she grew up and began her career in mixed animal medicine. She’s been practicing mixed animal medicine for the past six years until recently when she decided to shift her focus to small animal medicine. She lives locally in the Ponte Vedra area with her husband Jon, two year old daughter Piper, and 12 year old shepherd mix “Jughead”.
Veterinarian
Dr. Holly, a native of Fairfield, Ohio, earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master’s in public health epidemiology. She completed her veterinary degree at Ross University and spent her clinical year at Texas A&M University. Most recently, Dr. Holly practiced in Lumberton, Texas, just outside of Houston. She has a deep love for her tortoises, dogs, cats, rabbits, and cows. In her free time, she enjoys jogging, painting, and leatherworking.
Veterinarian
Dr. Sorensen has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 7 years, with a strong clinical background in both general practice and urgent care medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed advanced emergency and specialty training, giving her the ability to confidently manage urgent and complex cases.
Dr. Sorensen has a special interest in urgent care, where her calm demeanor and thoughtful decision-making help both pets and their owners feel supported during stressful situations. She is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and her dedication to providing high-quality, individualized care for every animal she treats.
Pet Stylist
Liz brought her grooming skills to us in August 2023. Grooming is a good fit for Liz as she enjoys helping animals and people. She as a large pet family of Binx, Gator, Foxy, Dipper, Maybel and four goats!
As for outdoor activities, Liz likes camping and swimming. She also has fun going to amusement parks or attending concerts and festivals.
Receptionist
With a passion for animals and a heart for helping people, Bianca has become a welcoming face of the veterinary clinic since joining the team in 2023. As a skilled receptionist, she brings a unique blend of empathy, organization, and dedication to every client interaction, making pet owners and their furry companions feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk in.
Known for her attention to detail, Bianca handles everything from scheduling appointments and managing medical records to answering questions with clarity and compassion. With a background in veterinary technician and administrative medical assistant, she understands the importance of clear communication between clients and the medical team.
Beyond the front desk, Bianca is an advocate for your animals wellness, always eager to support clients during both routine visits and more difficult moments. Whether coordinating follow-ups or sharing a comforting word, her goal is to make every visit smooth, efficient, and supportive.
In her free time, Bianca enjoys taking her kids Hayden and Colton on various adventures from a simple pool day to a walk on the beach looking for shark teeth. Born in California but moved here for military, her husband, a retired Marine have decided to make this home. She loves spending time with her family and her 6 cats. That’s right 6- Snickers, Baby, Pickles, Holly, Winter and Kiyah. Bianca is proud to be part of a team that shares a deep love for animals.
Technician
Tara has been working in the veterinary field since 2019 and joined PVVC as Lead Veterinary Technician in 2025. With a passion for both patient care and team leadership, she plays a critical role in monitoring medical procedures, performing diagnostics, educating clients, and mentoring fellow technicians.
Known for her ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure, Tara is a steady and knowledgeable presence in the clinic. Her favorite part of the job? Knowing she’s making a difference—and, of course, spending time with puppies!
Originally from Port Arthur, Texas, Tara has lived in both Texas and Florida. She shares her life with two beloved pets: Luke, a 9-year-old Lab mix, and Rick, a 3-year-old domestic shorthair cat.
Outside of work, Tara has a unique background—she spent three years showing livestock at the state fair and even competed in bodybuilding, earning her pro card after just one year.
Tara is driven by a deep commitment to animal care and hopes to continue teaching and guiding others in the veterinary field as her career progresses.
Technician
Emily joined PVVC in January 2025 as a skilled veterinary technician, bringing with her years of hands-on experience in animal care since entering the field in 2019. She began her journey at the Humane Society as an adoption counselor and worked her way up to become a dedicated technician.
Her role includes assisting during exams, preparing animals for surgery, administering medications, collecting samples, maintaining medical records, and ensuring every patient is safe and comfortable. Emily also provides compassionate support to pet owners throughout the care process.
Educated in animal behavior and body language, Emily has a deep passion for helping animals and giving back to the community. Originally from Jacksonville, FL, she enjoys spending her free time at the beach, reading, knitting, and hanging out with friends.
At home, she shares her life with Penny Lane, a 9-year-old Pit Bull, and Eleanor Rigby, a 3.5-year-old domestic shorthair cat. Emily is driven by a love for continued learning and aims to become the best technician she can be—one day, one patient at a time.
Technician
Shannon joined PVVC in April 2023 and brings eight years of experience in veterinary medicine. Her love for animals began in childhood, and she has steadily advanced from her first role as a kennel technician. Shannon holds an AA from UNF and assists our veterinarians in various tasks, including administering treatments, drawing and analyzing bloodwork, placing catheters, giving vaccines, and reading cytologies. She finds joy in helping sick animals recover and witnessing the happiness of owners reunited with their healthy pets. Shannon particularly enjoys meeting new patients and working with cytologies and bloodwork.
Originally from Chicago, Shannon has also lived in Naples. She is the proud mom of Dudley, a Golden Retriever, and Gamora, a Leopard Gecko. A fun fact about Shannon is that she has been a vegetarian for 20 years. When asked about her career goals, she said she aims to help as many animals as possible.
Technician
Harleigh joined PVVC in February 2025 and brings a lifelong passion for animal care to her role as a veterinary technician. Fresh out of high school, she entered the field determined to be a strong advocate for animals, especially in communities where their care is often overlooked.
At PVVC, Harleigh is the go-to person for doctors—taking patient histories and supporting every step of the visit with kindness and dedication. Certified as a Veterinary Assistant (CVA), she uses her knowledge and compassion to ensure each patient receives personalized, attentive care.
Born in Jacksonville Beach and raised in Amarillo, TX, Harleigh moved to Florida in 2023. Outside of work, she loves reading and exploring new places. She shares her life with Hazel Mae, a sweet 9-month-old black lab mix.
Harleigh finds the most reward in bringing relief to worried pet owners and being part of a supportive, caring community. Her ultimate goal? To grow from technician to doctor and continue putting animals first—always.
